How to Become a Seller

Hiddenbrooke residents can register their homes for the sale by filling out the Sign-Up Form. Your address will be included on our digital map for shoppers to easily find you.

🔒 Your personal information (name and email) will NOT be shared.

Rules

✔️ Only Hiddenbrooke residents may participate as sellers.
✔️ Ensure that your sale does not obstruct traffic or pedestrian pathways.
✔️ Any large or hazardous items should be properly secured and disclosed to buyers.
✔️ All signage must be removed at the conclusion of the sale.

Guidelines

✔️ Set up your sale area early to maximize shopping time.
✔️ Clearly price items and organize them for easy browsing.
✔️ Remove all unsold items and clean up after the sale ends.

Using Digital Payments Safely

✔️ Do not send or accept payment links via text message—this could be a scam. Always use official payment apps directly.

✔️ Double-Check the Recipient: Ensure you are sending money to the correct username before confirming payment.

✔️ Print and Display QR Codes: Print your payment QR codes in advance and place them in a visible area so buyers can easily scan and pay.

✔️ Verify Payments: Always confirm payments within your payment app before handing over items—do not rely on screenshots from buyers.

✔️ Use Trusted Payment Methods: Stick to well-known apps like Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or Cash App, and avoid unfamiliar platforms.

✔️ Watch for Overpayment Scams: Scammers may overpay and ask for a refund—always confirm the correct amount before issuing refunds.
